To download and install the SLIKZIP program for evaluation:

The latest version of SLIKZIP displays the follow level information:
SLIKZIP 1.11 - Copyright ASE 2011 Serial No:
ZIP0007I levels: P1193 110909-1653,P1193 110909-1653,P1193 110909-1653
If your version does not display these levels then please download the following files and re-install SLIKZIP.

  1. Download SLIKZ111.INSTALL.ZIP to your PC workstation, extract file SLIKZ111.INSTALL.XMIT and transfer to a RECFM=FB, LRECL=80 and BLKSIZE=whatever dataset on the host. Use BINARY, ie. no translation, during the transfer.
    Transfer SLIKZ111.INSTALL.XMIT to host dataset hlq.SLIKZ111.INSTALL.XMIT
    where hlq is the dataset high level qualifier, typically userid.


  2. Install SLIKZIP 1.11 including the new ISPF dialog:

  3. Now it's time to look at the SLIKZIP User's Guide or at least have a quick look at About SLIKZIP
