To Download and install the SLIKZIP program for evaluation:

  1. Download SLIKZ110.INSTALL.ZIP to your PC workstation, extract file SLIKZ110.INSTALL.XMIT and transfer to a RECFM=FB, LRECL=80 and BLKSIZE=whatever dataset on the host. Use BINARY, ie. no translation, during the transfer.
    Transfer SLIKZ110.INSTALL.XMIT to host dataset hlq.SLIKZ110.INSTALL.XMIT
    where hlq is the dataset high level qualifier, typically userid.


  2. Install SLIKZIP 1.10 including the new ISPF dialog:
    SLIKZIP install guide


  3. Now it's time to look at the SLIKZIP User's Guide or at least have a quick look at About SLIKZIP
