To Download and install the SLiKZiP program for evaluation:

  1. Download SLIKZ19.ZIP to your PC workstation, extract files SLIKLOAD.XMI and SLIKSAMP.XMI and transfer each to a RECFM=FB, LRECL=80 and BLKSIZE=whatever dataset on the host. Use BINARY, ie. no translation, during the transfer.
Transfer SLIKLOAD.XMI to host dataset hlq.SLIKLOAD.XMI
Transfer SLIKSAMP.XMI to host dataset hlq.SLIKSAMP.XMI

  2. In a TSO session, use:
    RECEIVE INDA('hlq.SLIKLOAD.XMI')

and follow the prompts to create the SLiKZiP LOAD library. Use this library as a STEPLIB.

Repeat this process to create the SLiKZiP SAMP library. Contains the code samples shown in the User's Guide

  3. Now it's time to look at the SLiKZiP User's Guide or at least have a quick look at About SLiKZiP
